 “I want to love God with all my heart, soul and mind - but I need space to think how” Our aim is to equip young people to make a difference in any walk of life. We want them to be shapers of culture rather than moulded by it, and to appreciate and enjoy God’s good gifts. Thinking space is designed to be taken pre-college, pre-career or pre-career-change Thinking Space ran as a group course for three years and reflections by some of the participants are given below. The internship currently being run provides one overseas student with the full wysocs open events programme plus personal tuition on understanding worldviews and their effects upon ourselves, UK society and other cultures. It includes part-time work experience assisting with wysocs administration and opportunity to practise speaking English and enjoy Yorkshire life in a lively Christian community.  .....  ..... What they said about Thinking Space The lectures have been immensely stimulating. We’ve also had opportunity to meet with inspiring mentors and its so exciting to be part of a community who live out what they preach. I’ve found a new excitement within my faith! The ‘discovery’ that there is to be a healing of the fallen creation marks a turning point in my faith. If Christians are going to make any positive difference to our society we need to be realistic, taking time to gain a deeper understanding of current issues. Today has been amazing . . . . This has been the best day yet . . . . I think this has been the best day of my life! (Said on various study days by the same person!) It's been incredible. I realise that although people know that being a Christian does not end at 'conversion', there really is a considerable lack of sufficient tools that are reaching particularly young Christians for how to critique what they are (not) doing.
